Is Buying FUT Coins Safe?
Short answer: buying coins carries some risk, and anyone who says otherwise is selling something. EA's rules don't allow it, and EA does act against accounts it catches.
The longer answer is more useful. Bans don't land on buyers at random; they follow patterns EA can see in the transfer data. Avoid those patterns, use a careful method and keep your account locked down, and the risk on an ordinary FC 27 coins order is low. This page explains what EA checks, how the transfer method affects the risk, what we do on our side and what you can do on yours.
What EA's rules say
EA's user agreement and its Ultimate Team rules forbid buying or selling FIFA coins, FUT coins or any other in-game currency for real money outside the game. On paper that covers buyers and sellers alike. In practice EA's enforcement looks at the trades themselves: it can remove coins it traces to sellers, lock a club out of the transfer market for a period, or, in serious or repeated cases, suspend the account. EA doesn't publish ban numbers, so treat any ban statistic you see online with suspicion.
What actually gets accounts flagged
EA can't see your bank statement. It sees how FC coins move. These are the patterns that draw attention:
- Millions of FC 27 coins arriving in one or two trades.
- Common cards and SBC fodder selling at their maximum price, again and again.
- Coins passing through a chain of unrelated clubs in a short time.
- Orders from several sellers at once, which multiplies all of the above.
- Sign-ins from many locations in one day, which also looks like a stolen account.
Which delivery method is safer?
Both methods move FC coins through the transfer market. The difference is who does the work and how the trades look. Comfort Trade lets an experienced agent spread a large order over normal-sized trades and pause if anything looks off. Player Auction keeps your login private, but every round is one listing at an unusual price, so large orders are better spread over time. For most buyers, Comfort Trade in batches is the safer way to move a big balance, and Player Auction suits smaller orders and players who won't share access. At our checkout every order currently goes by Comfort Trade, with Player Auction switched off; the delivery page has the details.
How we keep your club safe
Ordinary-looking trades
We move FC coins in amounts and at prices the market sees every day, never one giant transfer.
Region-matched sign-ins
Delivery agents connect through region-matched VPN connections and follow strict security protocols, and large orders are spread into batches.
Money back before work begins
A full refund before work on the order begins, a partial one by progress after that, and live support around the clock.
What keeps your account safe
- Keep login verification on and use a strong, unique EA password.
- Stay out of Ultimate Team until the order shows delivered.
- Buy from one seller at a time, in amounts that fit your club.
- After delivery, play and trade as usual rather than moving the whole balance at once.
- Never send coins on to other clubs through overpriced trades.
Money-back guarantee
A full refund if work on the order hasn't started, a partial refund by progress once it has, with requests open for 21 days from payment.
Read the refund rulesIs there a difference between platforms?
EA's rules are the same on PlayStation, Xbox and PC, and so is the way we move coins. What differs is the size of each market. PC has fewer players than the console markets, so a big order is a larger share of the day's trading there, which is one more reason we split large PC orders into batches. On consoles, PS5 and PS4 share a market, as do Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One, so the generation you play on makes no difference to safety.
Is it legal to buy FIFA coins?
Buying coins is a question of EA's terms, not of the law. In most countries paying another player for in-game currency is not a criminal or civil offence, and nobody is fined for it. What you risk is the account: coins, transfer market access and, at worst, the club itself. That is the real cost to weigh, and the reason this page exists.
If you have read this far and still want to buy FC 27 coins, the safest route is the one described above: one seller, a careful method, normal play afterwards. Start with how buying works or go straight to the calculator.
