Why sell FUT coins?

Players sell coins for simple reasons: they are stepping away from the game, the season is ending and the coins won't carry over to the next FC, or they have more than their squad needs. Coins sitting in a club in June are worth nothing once the new game arrives, so selling a surplus before then is the only way to get something back for it.

What the rate depends on

We will quote from the live market, so the rate moves with it: higher in launch weeks and around big promos, lower late in the season when there are plenty of coins about. PC and console coins are quoted separately, because they are separate markets. We won't publish a number until selling opens, because a rate that isn't live is just a guess.

Keeping your account safe as a seller

Selling runs through the transfer market, like buying. You list a card at the figure we give, our buyer picks it up, and the coins leave your club through an ordinary-looking sale. Nobody signs in to your account. Large sales are split over several rounds, so no single trade stands out.
