FC 27 Web App

The FC 27 Web App lets you run your Ultimate Team club from a browser: trade with other players, complete SBCs, open packs and manage your squad away from your console or PC. It went live on 16 September 2026, ahead of the game's launch, and it is where most serious trading happens all season. Here is how it works, how to get in and what to do first.

When the FC 27 Web App launched

EA opened it on 16 September 2026 at 17:00 UTC, which was 6pm in the UK and 1pm on the US East Coast. That was nine days before the worldwide release of the game on 25 September and two days before early access for Ultimate Edition owners on 18 September. It went first, as it does every year, so players could start building a club and trading before kick-off. Later in the season it simply stays open until the next game's version replaces it.

The Companion App

The Companion App, the mobile version of the same tool, followed on 17 September for iOS and Android. It shares your club, transfer market and SBCs with the Web App, so you can switch between them freely. Many players use the Companion App for quick checks and SBCs on the go and a computer for longer trading sessions, where a bigger screen helps. Both need the same EA account that you use in the game.

What you can do on the Web App

  • Buy and sell players and items on the market.
  • Complete Squad Building Challenges and claim their rewards.
  • Open packs and store items in your club.
  • Track objectives and claim objective rewards.
  • Edit squads, kits, badges and your club's look.

You can't play matches there; those stay on console and PC. Everything else that touches your club, and especially the market, works the same way as in the game.

How to log in

Go to EA's official Ultimate Team Web App page and sign in with the EA account linked to your console or PC profile. At launch, EA opened access to players who own FC 27 or played Ultimate Team in the previous game; a brand-new account usually needs to open Ultimate Team in the game once to create its club. If it says it can't find a club, check you are signed in with the right EA account. Households with several accounts on one console run into this more than anyone. On a shared computer, sign out when you finish, because the session stays open otherwise.

Keep login verification switched on. The Web App is a common target for phishing pages, so only sign in through EA's own site and never through links sent to you by strangers.

Trading from the browser

New and returning players can find the market locked in the browser even when the club exists. EA unlocks it once you have played enough of Ultimate Team, either by completing the early Foundations objectives in the game or by building up active days. Until then you can still open packs and do SBCs, but not trade. Our guide to unlocking the transfer market covers both routes and the usual reasons it stays locked.

Tips for the first weeks

  • Do the starter objectives first: they unlock the market and pay out packs.
  • Don't open every pack on day one. Early packs are worth more as tradable items while prices are high.
  • Sell high-demand players early. Prices for meta cards are at their peak in launch weeks.
  • Check the tax before every flip: EA keeps 5% of each sale. Our tax calculator shows your break-even price.

Common problems and fixes

  • Signed out suddenly. Ultimate Team allows one session per club, so opening the game or the phone app ends the browser session. Close the other one and sign in again.
  • Verification code not arriving. Check your spam folder, or switch EA's login verification to an authenticator app for faster codes.
  • Searches blocked for a while. Searching and bidding very fast can trigger EA's checks against bots. Slow down and the limit lifts after a while.
  • Club not found. You are probably signed in with another EA account. Sign out and use the one linked to your console or PC.

If none of these fit, EA Help has a status page for server problems, which are common in launch weeks and on big promo nights.

Buying coins and the Web App

Coin delivery by Comfort Trade runs through the Web App: a delivery agent signs in, moves the coins and signs out. That is why the Web App, the Companion App and the game should stay closed while an order is being delivered. If you would rather trade your way to a better team, the browser is the place to do it; if you would rather skip the grind, you can buy FC 27 coins for your platform and have them in your club within 2 hours.

FC 27 Web App FAQ

When did the FC 27 Web App come out?

It went live on 16 September 2026 at 17:00 UTC, about a week before the game's full launch on 25 September. The Companion App followed on 17 September.

Why can't I log in to the Web App?

The most common reasons are an EA account without an Ultimate Team club for this year, signing in with a different EA account than the one on your console, or server load at busy times. Open Ultimate Team once on your console or PC, then try again.

Is the Companion App different from the Web App?

Almost. The Companion App is the mobile version for iOS and Android, with the same club, transfer market and SBCs. The Web App runs in a browser on any computer.

Why is the transfer market locked on the Web App?

Access has to be earned, either by completing the early objectives in the game or by playing Ultimate Team actively over several days. Our unlock guide explains both routes.
